Religion is one of the most debated topics. People from illiterate to people highly educated, everyone is ready to fight to protect their religion. Is it really necessary?

Please understand what the boy dreamt of, in the article below and START THINKING ONCE AGAIN!
Once a boy was very confused about religion.
He tried to seek answers to all his questions.
He read many books
The Holy Quran,
The Holy Bible,
The Vedas,
And many more.
But alas!His confusion increased further.
So much of reading in few days wearied him a lot,
He fell asleep with all the thoughts in his mind.
He saw someone with a
very unique and divine personality,
"Who are you?", he asked the stranger.
The stranger replied, "I am Mohammed".
In ignorance and astonishment,
The boy said,"Don't tell me that you are the Prophet
who created the religion Islam".
The stranger smiled and replied, "No I am not the one
who created Islam.
I am the one who tried to show the path of living life,
which is full of wisdom,
which is full of happiness,
which is full of truth,
which is full of respect,
which is full of love,
for everyone in this world".
Before the boy could ask something else, the stranger
disappeared.
Then someone else called the boy from behind.
The boy turned back.
This was someone else and had the same glaze as the previous
stranger.
Before the boy could speak anything,
The person introduced himself saying,"I am Jesus
Christ".
The boy asked, "Are you the one who created
Christianity?"
The stranger smiled and replied, "No I am not the one who
created Christianity.
I am the one who tried to show the path of living life,
which is full of wisdom,
which is full of happiness,
which is full of truth,
which is full of respect,
which is full of love."
And then even the new stranger disappeared.
The experience was
very mysterious for the boy.
The boy heard another
person calling him.
The boy looked at him and no words came out of his mouth.
The boy felt that even this new stranger was as divine as the previous two strangers
who claimed to be Prophet Muhammed and Jesus Christ.
The new stranger introduced himself saying,"I am
Krishna".
Somehow the boy managed to whisper, "Are you the one
who created Hinduism?"
The stranger replied, "No I am not the one who created
Hinduism"
I am the one who tried to show the path of living life,
which is full of wisdom,
which is full of happiness,
which is full of truth,
which is full of respect,
which is full of love.
Then came many strangers who had divine presence and claimed
to be Buddha,
Then Gurugranth Sahib,
And many other religious Gurus one by one.
And everyone's reply was,
"No I am not the one who created religion" .
I am the one who tried to show the path of living life,
which is full of wisdom,
which is full of happiness,
which is full of truth,
which is full of respect,
which is full of love,
for everyone in this world.
After all this, there
was total darkness and the boy was left alone.
Out of confusion and
frustration, the boy shouted,
"Which is the religion I am suppose to follow?"
Then everyone appeared in front of him together.
They all united into a form of light.
And the light replied,
"Follow no religion but follow all.
Follow the path of living life,
which is full of wisdom,
which is full of happiness,
which is full of truth,
which is full of respect,
which is full of love,
for everyone in this world,
You are a human,
follow humanity!
And the boy opened his eyes from sleep.
awesome...
ReplyDelete@prince sharma- Thanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteVery Nice. But I find ambiguity in the solution of following humanity as the word itself has many perspectives and may mean different for different person. Hence, I find religion as important to keep a human guided. What if there is something greater than humanity?
ReplyDelete@Talib-Thanks for your response, friend. That's truly a valid point" Humanity may mean different to different people." May I understand your perspective of humanity? Just to make it clear, I am an theist and not agnostic by belief. But I agree to the fact that removing religion from society would rather create a problem than giving a solution. But I must assert that we cannot ignore the problems caused because of different religions. People are more concerned about the dress one should wear, whether one should fast, not marrying a person just because he/she is from other religion (some even different section within the religion) and so on. People even go to the extent of saying that if you are not from one particular religion then, no matter how many good deeds you have done in your life, you will go to hell. The emphasis is laid more on getting converted to a particular religion than following the essence of all religions(which is usually the same in all religion). Is it really needed to say that the other religion is useless(like in Peace Tv, Aastha tv,etc keep doing). I really believe that we should start thinking once again!
